I spent this past weekend at the South Central Farm in Los Angeles, CA. For over 3 weeks farmers, activists, and celebrities were resisting eviction to save this beautiful, cultural oasis from being turned into a Walmart distribution center. Today (June 13th 2006) hundreds of police in riot gear stormed the farm to evict those who we're peacefully standing ground to save the farm.
